Sick of Being Sick

Part of living our lives is being sick. I am sick of that part though. I am coughing up a lung, but I still have to take care of four children, take them to school/babysitter/preschool/afterschool activities/music lessons/therapy, and I have to work, clean the house, do the laundry and make the meals. All the while I am working a volunteer job that is about to do me in, for the elementary school. I think I am working harder for the school than I am for the job I am getting paid to do. Something is wrong with that picture.

I am also feeling rather depressed about the results of our election. It is like a very bad dream that I am praying I will wake up from soon. I can't believe that our country has elected a socialist loser with no experience in running anything, much less a country. It is what it is, but I wish it was not.

Jared did not get pills today, and boy could we all tell. I think his substitute teacher could really tell too. I am going to have to make a check list for myself so I can remember every morning, without fail, or we all will pay!
